Rostam

Just saw Rostam live tonight. What a wonderful experience. He was so loose and sincere on stage while simultaneously so rigorous and attuned to the composition of the music. It was so magical to see him open and allow himself to be fully effected by the music too. His new album (American Stories) makes me tear up and feel free. The songs from his album, Half Light, make me feel like I’m moving through every single subtle change of the light through the day. The compositions feel euphoric and otherworldly but also make me feel grounded in this insane experience that is being a human.
